Hi we are taking delivery of some new machines, we install trackers as standard. What security do you recommend?
or install a tiger in each cab ... clear up the bones in the morningSleep in them at night for complete reassurance
Never had one taken with a traklock on it. Lost 2 with trackers!!Dozer blade locks - no good for me as I trap the buckets under the blade.
Or a lot use a track lock to stop them being tracked out so easy.
Problem nowadays is the cordless grinders are brilliant! And oxy is as good as silent so nothing is unchoppable.
other thing one can do is fit a solenoid op fuel valve ... some also have a manual over-ride built into them which unless you know them make them pretty damned near foolproof as a fuel isolatorFit a remote tap on the diesel to the injection pump so you can stop it being started?
Or fit some flexible hose in the feed that can be squashed to stop and diesel flowing, the silicone hose used in peristaltic pumps is pretty immune to anything, used in chemical labs.
or my fave .. a Hella socket/plug in series in the dead man circuit, with the plug linked .. pull the plug and the circuit is dead ... and looks totally innocuous, just like your average accessory socketAnother thing depending on the machine is remove a component from the deadmans handle assembly.
The old machines where easy as a pin could be replaced by nu and bolt
Some new machines the bracket that engages the switch is adjustable and could be easily moved just enough over night to leave the machine dead unless they have the time to trouble shoot
