Turned up on site to do a full undercarriage on this hitachi, spent 2 hours digging the tracks out and called it a day. Told them it needs dug out and washer before we come back.

If you came to one of my machines I'd make sure it was relatively clean if not just to speed job up and poss save money the easier the job is made the better the job you're gonna get. If it was a machine that was hired to somebody else then maybe they don't think its their problem. Can't blame you for walking away, knowing the miles you put in to get to jobs least somebody could do is get shovel out

Deffo in the right,wouldn't have wasted two hours digging it out,should have it in terms,you're there to fit,one thing cleaning bit out as you go but that's unacceptable,

Uncle Lionells gear .... did you have a look at his scrapers he's been rebuilding .. Mr Fossil's been doing a hell of a job on them .

used to charge double rate for any cleaning work ... if they couldn't be arsed to bring gear in clean to work on, WTF should we have to do it?? ... we were there to fix it, not clean the s**t off it, before we could even look at it ........... and then we had a load of crap to deal with afterwards ... it all costs .... and went on the bill ........ they soon learnt to clean their own
