Now that is a smart idea, makes it nice and tidy🙂
Funny thing is the Japanese hitachi designers had never seen it before when they came around with my rep for Hitachi they quizzed me on the extra lights that I've got fitted from Hitachi main Depot up Newcastle upon Tyne 🤣

Have heard of that, different things for different countries. Saw a video the other day of a new 210 komatsu, but it came with the old style -6 joysticks🤔

One thing worth remembering is that most ferry operators don't insure or much care for RoRo traffic..... if it gets f***ed, it gets f***ed.... I think the only exception is if the boat sinks or similar.

very true Rory .... came off the Le Havre to Portsmouth ferry in Sept., 1990 after the worst crossing I ever experienced ... When I got on in Le Havre there were vehicles coming off smashed to bits - caravans with holes in the sides, bent dented wings on cars ... trucks were fine .. chained down, but the cars never are ... on a bike they give you tie downs and you're responsible for your own security ... I never lost one ... I was the only one in the cafeteria in the morning ... having a full English :giggle: .... were green and grey people littering the boat everywhere and it stank !!
Waves had been breaking over the front and sides of the boat all night
