yeh the 3" B&S coupling does have a much higher rating ..... still bloody insanity rating an FT at 46t with a semi imposed load, like that - behind the rear axle - the same as a fully imposed load on an artic unit and trailer's 5th wheel - madness !!
Even with airbrakes I bet it's a fun ride downhill 😵‍💫

Ah it wouldn’t matter to some of the madmen in the south.. i
Think they are fairly strict on the standards of tractors in the south as well.. anything with a 50k box or more can go on the motorways and all down there

always pondered the grip of ag tyres on a wet road ? compared to road tyres ,anybody got the answer

Not the best. They actually have a tiny footprint on hard surfaces. As only sat on the cleats.
Never driven one on road tyres.
But then you need to have the trailer doing 90% of the breaking or will toast the tractor brakes, especially if running newholland or case.

what i am getting at ,is shouldnt you be on road legal tyres when doing roadwork ?

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
They're 11t each plus weight of trailer 😶
I did struggle to locate any straps at first glance ..but there were some .
you'd struggle to put them behind/on an artic :mad:
