I thought this might be of interest to the dozer and heavy plant enthusiasts here.
We recently filmed the production of Liebherr Generation 8 crawler dozers at the Liebherr factory in Telfs, Austria. The video follows several major assembly stages, including the final drives, hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel engine installation, cab tilting, blade cylinders, final checks and a PR 736 field test.
There is no commentary or music — only the real sounds from inside the factory.
The machines shown include the PR 716, PR 736 and PR 756.
I would be interested to hear what operators and owners here think of Liebherr’s hydrostatic drive system and the Generation 8 machines in general.
