Hi Mick. Left lever that swivels the machine around has stopped working. When you press it you can hear the oil going from the pump and returning but no movement. You can physically push the machine around when the lever is pressed and sometimes that enables it to start working again for a few seconds then it stops. No oil leaks anywhere and everything else works. When I manually pushed it a couple of times it moved in the opposite direction to where the lever was ie I had the lever for the machine to swivel clockwise and it went anti-clockwise. When it did this there was a clicking noise. Let me know if you need anything further. Thsnks. Kevin.

Ok two things to start, sorry just a bit of confusion Reading back through the thread, firstly can you get me a good pic of the slew motor, secondly does the dipper work correctly?

odd that case drain line isn't going direct to Tank @Mick-the-fitter ... looks to be going through the return filter filter giving issues??

Ok the small hose on top is indeed the case drain, if you remove the hose and try slewing left or right what happens? You might need to blank the hose end as oil can come from the tank! In the recess look like an Allen key headed bolt or grub screw, is there one like this on the opposite side of that block?

I see what you mean about the case drain! But also the hose from it seems extra long, if it’s meant to go to the filter it would be shorter

Ok I have a theory concerning the hoses on this machine, the case drain hose being as long as it is and being armoured is an addition, but the original hose would have gone to the tank directly( no need to go through the filter) as Druid quite rightly picked up on! So if you put this hose to tank and blank the adaptor it went to, we may see a difference in the workings of the motor!

Bit of an update. Took the swivel motor off and stripped. The main shaft has sheared off in the motor. Not sure if I can be repaired or if it’s a new one.

Can you do some measurements of the shaft that is broken, all of it if possible!

Hey Guys, i have the same machine as this and have a damaged swing motor gearbox same as this one, its very hard to find parts for it in AUS, does anyone know where i could find this part?
