I know nothing about machine guidance etc , could anyone say if this is a complete set up?

Highly doubt it... I'd say it has had a system swapped between tomorrow or more machines and they took the main gear to the next machine

Tat looks like what they call the loom to me it'll need the screen and the 2 mushrooms for the back to make it work (the expensive bits) though many hire in those bits as needed.

That's Leica machine guidance. Can work just off a laser from memory. Lionel Whitnell used to run that kit and might have the bits to make it work. May be worth sending him a message or giving him a ring.

Not really.

It's getting obsolete, but is likely handier than you think... can be used as just a laser setup on 2d like the I dig.

Fair enough. Maybe worth trying to get it set up with just the laser.
Just been hoking and found these, definitely missing screens and mushrooms.
