Who's every one using... sick to death of Eon's Mystic Meg Billing and then getting moany demands when the reality is we owe about £80 a quarter :(
our old supplier went pop so got moved to eon next with 80% price increase now from 1st april another roughly 80% price rise for electric, fixed gas with british gas august last year on fixed rate until oct 2023 4p pkwh and 18 ppd standing charge, might start using more gas just because its cheapish. dread to think what october will bring with price cap.roll on summer warm days and nights and plenty of daylight.

right... so Martin Lewis answered this Q tonight, posed by a chap in the studio with exactly this Q .... the standing charge has been raised doubled .... to pay for .... all the tw*ts that've gone tits up 🤬 🤬 .. anyone else'd be lucky to get a penny in the pound from an insolvency 🤬🤬🤬 .... AND to pay the ****ing green levy 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 ... and ..... a few other things like network maintenance/infrastructure/etc. .... the sort of sh1t their profits're supposed to be used to pay for FFS 🤬🤬🤬🤬
the 30% rise in the actual cost of the leccy itself is far more tolerable and understandable than the crap above :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Baglan bay gas fired power stn .. privately owned with couple of dozen customers went tits up some time ago ... Welsh Gov is now paying for all the infrastructure 'adjustments' to get 'em all back on the grid and appears to have been renting gennies to keep some operational for some time

as if this wasn't enough tish for the Port talbot area Tarta are telling the gov. today that they can't afford / need gov. funding to meet the required emissions levels imposed by -- you guessed it -- the UK Gov. .... no help - site'll close along with others and'll be yet another massive nail in the coffin of UK's ability to manufacture home market steel. All in the name of the green agenda sh1t .... we're a pissy little country on a global scale ... get a LOT of other plants around the world up to or coming anywhere near our current levels, before imposing this arbitrary bollocks here  :mad::mad::mad:

"Connecting businesses on an energy park to a new power supply after the power station they used went under has cost more than £6m of public money."

beggars belief

" Italian-owned paper manufacturer Sofidel was the largest employer that relied on the power station - it has a workforce of more than 300 people and used about 94% of the electricity it generated."

wonder how many fingers were in the Sofidel pie in the first place .... cheap(er) power was obviously to carrot to get them there originally and I dare say, el stupido levels of grant :mad::mad::mad:
