Im on a time of day tariff, so have 3 different rates per KW/h. As I have a Tesla powerwall this takes charge from the solar and when thats not enough charges from grid on silly cheap rate. The expensive rate is from 4pm-9pm, silly cheap 1am-5am.
So the powerwall in effect makes all my electric usage in the house off cheap rate at 7p KW/h

I know how this may sound but a lot of people have been paying too little for too long. Now a lot of these small energy firms have gone we are all paying back what some weren't paying to begin with plus some.

I used to have BG for gas and leccy in work, as it worked the cheapest at the time, especially with dual-fuel discount. Used Countrywide energy for a while too, but don't know if they still exist?because when TE went pop we got shoved onto BG no options.

Have stuck with SSE/SWALEC here at home as they seemed pretty average and TBH CNBA to prat about swapping here and there for half a penny on a Kwh AND they're very reliable/easy to deal with as/when we have any issues ... plus I get a genny at the drop of a hat if it goes off and is going to be more than an hour (one 'perk' of being on a 'treatment for life', with a fridge full of drugs)

what i think...mine atm its all an utter shambles wont bore u with the details but two direct debits etc etc.
their even admitting its a mess themselves...should sort it self out in a "few months":
