Not much help to the conversation but been on a u48-4 for the last couple of days, not a fan, really tight in the cabin, I know it's due to the zero tail but the seat just doesnt go back far enough to be comfortable. Also for some reason is a bit crap to grade with, constantly putting ripples in unless you keep bottom of bucket flat in the ground

That's what I thought, I'm definitely not wiggling the sticks back and forth, pulling on both smoothly but always ripples.
Machine has literally just passed 1k hours

My KX060 ( L-Spec) landed at the dealers Friday, 41k + vat no hitch or buckets.

Yes, I was digging out behind a wall so operating blind. The wall was pretty ropy, so was concerned I would knock it over if going by feel alone. Mirror helped somewhat, but a wifi camera set up off the machine would have been better.

Hitachi fit engcon at there main base in Newcastle upon tyne as all done through hitachi rep so warranty and back up will be as well

I could prob host ‘battle of the 5 toners’ at my yard come summer time? I know of a cat 5 ton that I’m sure would attend also.. obviously covid would have to bugger off and probably sign a H&S disclaimer
