Kubota u25 leak

I'm a new, first time owner of a mini digger. It's a 2.5 tonne Kubota zero tail.

It was purchased for a DIY construction build.
There's a very minor drip coming from a black plate to the left of the cab.
I can't seem to access what is behind the plate to investigate. Looking up from underneath there's a unit with 2 cables coming out of it that appears wet. I'd like to resolve it before I take it to site, while it's in the shed!

Any help or advice you guys could share would be appreciated

Could be anywhere! Only thing you can do is clean it up and then follow the new drip trail back... most likely it’s a loose hose, so try nipping Up everything you can get too as a starting point

I'm struggling to work out which orientation your photo is in. If its hidden behind the a plate, it could well be something to do with the main solenoid that livens up the hydraulics. They tend to make them hard to get to so its harder to bypass the key and start. Whatever it is, you need to clean it as Dave says and see exactly where its coming from and go from there. No easy fix I'm afraid, you need to gain access to it.

Is it definitely a leak and not residual oil from a recent service sat on the belly pan?

Thanks for the replys! In the picture, the orange line is the rear of the door when the picture is tilied. I gave it a run of degreaser before running a ligh hose on it earlier. It's definitely not from a service. I took at look at the solenoid part you mentioned gunners and it makes sense. Cable coming from it and held in with Allen key studs.
The main issue is how to get into it to see exactly which part is weeping oil. There's two bolts, 1 is accessible with some difficulty from below. The second, is high up inside the plate. When I removed the lower one it appeared what ever is inside the plate was moving with it.

I have it narrowed down to some part behind the black cover plate. I can't see any evidence of oil on the lower pipes/valves.

Yep! That's it.
With the info above I went at it again today knowing that the plate wasn't designed to come off. Eventually got into it to find the top pipe wet. One turn of the jubilee clip sorted the issue. Degreased it and cleaned it off. Left it running and operated the controls for a while before re assembling.

It'll get it's first day out in a few weeks so I'll keep an eye on it!

Jubilee clipped hydraulic hose is a bit Mickey Mouse, if it’s difficult to get at once reassembled I’d be considering getting a proper fitting made personally (depending on how easy the other end of the hose is to access of course!).

It looks like a return pipe, so a jubilee is fine in my book. Plenty fitted from the factory.

Seems to be an original clip! Will keep an eye on it and to see if it returns but hopefully it'll remain dry

I've yet to get it to site. Looking to purchase a plant trailer to move it around. Will let you know once I've it tried out!

lo/zero pressure return to tank ... jubilee'd be pretty std for the application

Fingers crossed the issue is resolved anyway pictures are scarce for the moment.. but I'll keep you all updated when I get in motion.
