Kubota kx36-2 travel problem

Could anyone help me I’m having a problem with my kubota kx36-2
It’s tracking perfectly forward and reverse but when it come to using one track at a time it comes under pressure and won’t move. I’ve changed the track motor oil and both sides were clean and i had the motor off and everything seem fine there aswell, but when I put a bar into the sprocket on both sides at high revs it will stop both motors dead, Could it be a case drain filter or a problem with the swivel or the valve chest any help would be appreciated

Ya the travel on the leavers seems perfect it’s like it’s not sending enough pressure down to the motors when it come under load

what he said maybe the ‘switch’ is stuck? Does it make a difference from hi to low while travelling in a straight line

Personal feeling would be center joint seals gone/going. Will it work tracks independently with tracks lifted off the floor or do they still both want to drive?

It will track perfect when lifted both sides but once you pin the track it will stop straight away

What do you mean “pin the track?” If you put a bar through the sprocket of course it’s going to stop turning, as it’ll blow the line reliefs. It could be the rotary seal, but don’t start looking for the worst case straight away. Is your track tension correct, are the line reliefs too low? Have you got a seized idler bearing? Start simple.

When I say that it took the bear amount of force to stop it even when tracking a good size stone would stop it turning if it was in front of it! Anyway I had a mechanic look at it today and he went thru it and reckons it’s the seals in the rotary coupling that’s gone due to there being no pressure in the blade aswell so hopefully that sorts it thanks for all yeer help lads much appreciated

Dead end the blade up or down and try tracking! If the seals are leaking in the rotary valve, it will normally be from one service into another, (blade two lower services, tracks the next four, motor leak off t’d through the centre) also check that the circling and washer are intact at the bottom, if that falls off the rotary centre can move off the seals.
