The hydraulic oil pumps are installed on the flywheel side of the motor, but quite impossible to get out. ?
Can anyone tell me how to get it out. What kind of coupling is it ?

Usually a plastic splined coupling.

Try undoing the enging mounts and wiggling it over to one side, might give you enough room.

looks to be an engine out job ..... or at least lift it enough to be able to withdraw the pumps from the bell housing .... itll be on a splined shaft coupling to the flywheel - usually nylon/plastic and therefore needs handling carefully

Why do you need the pumps out? Have you lost all ops?

either raise the flywheel end of the motor enough to slide the pumps out of their drive, or better still take the whole thing out - engine and pumps = so much easier on the floor/bench and most likely easier to do, than trying to raise just one end

Thanks for answering, but it is not a space problem, The two pumps are stock in the joint between motor and pump.

well it's usually a nylon/plastic splined drive plate, so you may have to take courage and quietly pry them apart ... and accept you may have to replace it if it gets damaged in the process ... it's obviously been together a long time and is as you say 'stuck' ... much the same as a gearbox first motion shaft can become stuck/tight in a clutch friction plate in a vehicle ... have had to prise a gearbox off the back of an engine before now

Ok from the photo it’s a kx36 original twin gear pumps, I think the pump shaft is in a splined steel piece that then has a larger splined outside into the nylon drive coupling!
