Komatsu Lever pads missing

Anyone have an idea where I can get these wee pads that go on the wee buttons on the levers . I’m missing 2 and it’s really annoying trying to press the button in without them .
Komatsu don’t sell them only the whole levers . He wouldn’t even tell me the price !

They are the same lever tops as used in many JCB machines. Unfortunately I think it’s the same issue with JCB, don’t sell individual components. But it might widen your search a bit?
I know a fitter, who I will be seeing in the next few weeks hopefully, I will ask him if it’s possible to get the parts.

That’s good to know . I know a fitter that fits tiltrotators he may well have some jcb levers kicking around .

could you not mould something up in silicon @Vinpetrol , that you could stick to the top of the button ?
or summat like this with a solid insert under it to actuate the button ?

Well the wee buttons eventually started playing up . Likely from dirt getting on with the rubbers missing

I couldn’t get the jacks to engage and when I did they wouldn’t come back up so I needed to do something

I spoke with John Allison , new tilt rotator fitter .
He is brilliant with electrics .
Levers now fitted with engcon buttons and working perfectly

some of the guys on a jcb group on facebook have managed to get the circular buttons comlete and have fitted them fairly easily themselves i will have a look later and try finding it and post it up if i can.

Thankfully mine has been fit and forget, just lack of hammer line flow when it’s off, but that could just be the machine? @CPS do you turn the hammer circuit down when fitting a tilty?

No, I would select a mode, or set one up with the flow and pressure to suit. On smaller machines its normally a case of just selecting hammer mode. Its all done through the controller after that. What system are you running? SVAB?
it could be a case that its turned down in the control system

Svab… I just got told to ‘mash any button you like to use the hammer’ ‘ I’ve manually over ridden the flow so you don’t need to touch the computer’ who knows!!

Sounds Strange Are you not getting full flow? If not how much do you think your getting ? 50% 75%?

I’d say it’s 75% that’s going off the breaker , which is fine, flail is just really poor on it.. isn’t anywhere near whining.. feels like the flail is at 25%!! I’ll have to get a flow meter on it I guess
