go to your account (click on your name, top right, in the top banner) and look for 'Upgrade Account' ..... 'tis a paltry tenner for a year and'll help our illustrious leader with the overheads of running this great establishment

I have a conflict of intrest

I really dislike this sort of advertising.. blatant type stuff... I kind of saw it with laser levels online too, comes and goes and takes sales but it seemed ok.

I have PM’d the poster here and have suggested a heavier donation to the site required but there must also be some imput.. The donation is really to make sure its used properly more than anything as anybody will know a £10 fee is penny’s to any trader serious about it..

Thoughts all?

agreed .. the laser fella has helped several folks, with apparently good prices and gives decent advice gratis

Yes I have no issue with the laser guy. Would be great if he did pay into the membership I see it as a kind of respect thing but so far mr Komatsu has spammed up with emails and websites

edit to add also, I’m not really here trying to charge people it’s not what it’s about. but I really hate fly by sales who join for nothing more than what I consider spam.

I notice at the bottom of the page, there is a `our partners` section, I thought that was for advertising? Guess it would bring a bit of revenue into the site to help with running costs, stickers, give away competions

yes it was never my plan to have advertising here though and especially at the moment.

Laser one is the same, there has been help but afiak no content has been anything except helping with selling lasers

I know alot of us have website links on the posts, and to be fair on mobile you can't see them, not sure if that's a bit much but only added mine after seeing others on a computer screen.

Maybe you could have a paid trader section for the ones trying to only flog gear on here

think that's a bit harsh ... they have made a lot of contributions and input .... and quite a few have benefited
