Kobelco sk75ur-3 doing my head in

Hi everyone , new to the forum , pretty new to excavators too , as you will probably find out.
Just wondering if anyone knows about the stepping motor setup on a kobelco sk75ur-3 grey import?
Linkage goes up and down a dozen times when keys turned to on , machine idles and seems to be in limp , throttle dial has ohms reading whilst turning it when disconnected . Fuses good

I'd be running a mechanical throttle cable. They don't fail so much.

Ive read the electronic controller craps out if you run a cable , but thats what I am contemplating.
