Kitchen worktops

So it's been a while since I did a kitchen and tools/products have changed. With a 40mm bull nose worktop you do a mason mitre on 90° joints with a big router, cut out for bolts and stick the color matched stuff in the joint and assemble.
What do you do with square edge worktop?
Straight butt joint and cutout for bolts, fudge the colour stuff in there and assemble?
Can you just cut the worktop with the tracks tracksaw?
Would you bother sticking some domino's in there?

You can do a butt joint but make sure you remove to front plastic preform edge to the width of you joint. Cut the front plastic with a new staley knife blade and remove the area of the joint with a heat gun to remove the unwanted section of front edging strip then cut your joint bolts in as normal and use your coulour match in the joint before you tighten it up it should then give you the same clean sharp join as a masons miter
