I like cake
Have heard hitachi quoting 1 year for some kit atm
Was quoted end of Oct for a volvo ecr40 factory orderAny idea on volvo or kubota lead times.probably change my machine soon
nick...
I’ve found em faultless to be honest.early ec15 b model woukd fracture the exhaust piping but no problems with the later 1.5 ton models.my 25 is faultless too apart from gater round left hand control pod splitting But volvo sorted it after dealer woukd do nothing about it.apart from shite paint that’s about it.my machines are seen after very well.never have a night out.serviced every 100 hours and washed after every job tooI was quoted the same lead time for a ec18e, Nick you've had a few Volvo minis, anything I'd need to aware of with the 18e? SM plant sales from Rugby have quoted me, I'm based in telford is there any dealers closer to me?

Is that for the dealer to call you back after an enquiry....as im still waiting...i got so bored i spent the money elsewhere.....i do live in hope tho.Have heard hitachi quoting 1 year for some kit atm
Ha i know that feeling, seem to have got past it though and dealer seems much more switched on lately (maybe realised I'm not a tyre kicker). Is that for the dealer to call you back after an enquiry....as im still waiting...i got so bored i spent the money elsewhere.....i do live in hope tho.
I asked hitachi back end of 2019 so well before covid was on the scene.Ha i know that feeling, seem to have got past it though and dealer seems much more switched on lately (maybe realised I'm not a tyre kicker).
From what I hear a lot of manufacturers have slowed production during covid and so don't have a build up of stock. What they had as stock has mostly gone so effectively they are building to order, however they are doing this with reduced workforce and supply issues in many cases. I know local taki dealer is still awaiting some machines which should have arrived in June/July
Yeah can't beat getting an answer even if it's not what you want to hear at least you can move on to something else. I do think sometimes rather than tell you they don't want to supply what you want they like to string you along on the hope you'll buy what they want you to have instead.I asked hitachi back end of 2019 so well before covid was on the scene.
Some are on the ball and honest with things some seem to just promise and not deliver.
Ive a new truck on order n the bloke sorting it is so much better than anyone within 150miles of me....hence my post weeks ago about how hard is it to spend money.
All i ever want is an answer not missed emails or promises to return calls that never happens...if ive a customer who needs bad news i let them know i dont just think sod it.
Yes id agree there....and thats all because the mfg insist in the dealers having set machines in stock so they will push stock stuff for many miles before they offer factory orderYeah can't beat getting an answer even if it's not what you want to hear at least you can move on to something else. Yeah there is another angle on it mind. Was talking to a dealer recently and what he said in regard to manufacturer was an interesting point. Manufacturers view is they sell x number of machines into the UK each year with relative ease so why start going to extremes for one off sales. A lot of people don't like the lead time for factory orders at the best of times either tbf.Yes id agree there....and thats all because the mfg insist in the dealers having set machines in stock so they will push stock stuff for many miles before they offer factory order
