Mine stopped igniting the other day.....its been good but they all go wrong.
It's pumping diesel but not lighting.....no fuses gone nothing else obvious.

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
few things it could be .... as said photocell to sense flame, but that usually won't stop it igniting in the ignition cycle, just won't let it run on after, as it thinks it hasn't lit.
could be the HV transformer died ... can you hear anything in the way of it trying to spark
simplest issue is the gap between the electrodes is too great and it's not arcing at all .... easiest one to try first .... can be adjustable single units

or paired

also need to be in the right position in relation to the fuel nozzle

these have burnt back too far and too great a gap

blown burners're pretty simple/straightforward things to play about with .... just respect the ignition tranny :oops::oops: ... can test that by simply giving it a constant power source and checking for an arc at the electrodes, having made sure they're set up right first

unlikely the nozzle'll have given up suddenly, usually gives progressively smokey burn first ... unless it's blocked
most bits're cheap enough, apart from the HV tranny ... IIRC the last one I replaced was about 50 quid.

good luck

A local farmer has had three in two years. The engines are OK but the pumps die and spares are unobtanium. He's too tight to buy a proper one though so more fool him.

Basically, whatever you buy should have a Honda or Honda copy engine (or decent 3 phase motor), and either Interpump (best) or Antonio Reverberri pump- spares for both are easily obtainable. Do the maintenance too- change the pump oil. Uses old school 30w motor oil with no detergents.

You'll never regret purchasing a decent 21l/min machine. It's night and day compared to 12l/min (the max obtainable at reasonable pressure from a single phase supply). Time is money! Yes, they will need a buffer tank, but for static use it's really no issue.
I don’t remember what make the pressure washer itself was, the engine on the Machine Mart special was a B & S so you could get everything for the engine, and tbh we never had any trouble engine-wise. The pump parts were all available either from machine mart or on line. I resealed the pump about a month before it got nicked.

I’ll have a look at the paperwork tomorrow and see what make the pump was. The original lance blew itself apart early on so we replaced it with a cheapo from L&S plant spares that was better than anything on a brand name washer.

I've had issue yesterday with my hyundai petrol 1 yesterday. Changed plug no help, pulled to many times broken pull cord.
This morning replaced cord stripped carb and cleaned fresh petrol still won't run properly. As soon as you pull trigger cuts out and job to start again.
Dropping it to repair shop Monday 3hrs of my life wasted
Sorted a new coil apparently dropped this morning and fixed this afternoon
