What's the opinion on yanmar sv08 and Kubota kx008 and u10? I think these are the only ones we have dealers for on the island. The tracks on the yanmar go from 680 to 800 odd so that could be useful for me with the fencing.

The Yanmar is a terrible machine, super slow, horrible to drive - your knee keeps hitting the throttle down! It would of been an ok micro about 15 years ago when they first came out. The Bobcat and Kelbelco are both much better machines. The kubota isnt bad in U10 form but no servos!

I hired a Kubota on sticks, it was terrible. Think it was a kx008.

U10 has some half arsed pull down servos, looks weird and claustrophobic. I think it's just an after thought to have the servos but as they didn't change anything else on the machine for it, it's just a system that replaces the levers.

Older machine wise you won't beat the takeuchi tb108.
New machines it's a toss up between the tb210r or the E10/dx10z. The E10 is 40mm narrower and uses 30mm pins whereas the takeuchi is still on 25mm pins but I'm sure the takeuchi has more power and slightly longer reach. One of the biggest issues I think with the E10 is the max tipping height it's a good foot lower than my old tb108

That's exactly where I'm at now. New bobcat or £7500+vat tb108 with 1000-2000 hours. I like the idea of a tb210r as all the specs are better than the e10 but there is no 0% finance , 6.5% I think.

Don’t go on specs alone. Not tried a tb210 but I think you’d be hard pressed to beat the bobcat for power.

I regularly use a Takeuchi tb210 and can’t fault it,apart from hand throttle that often gets moved by your left knee which I find annoying

I’ve looked at the advert again. You are right, the €64 is 5 years. Very confusing. The headline in bold is 3 years 0% finance but the example is 5 years 0% finance.

Surprised by that as on paper the E10 is similiar for bucket and arm forces as the tb108 and the tb210r is meant to be at least 10% more powerful

IMHO on a machine that size, bucket choice/specification/hitch type can quite quickly kill that 10% but IMHO the bobcat wins hands down, much better package in my opinion. That's for someone with a fleet of takeuchi's. the next generation machines aren't all that in my opinion, too much focus on styling.... bobcat have the best 1t machine. The TB108 was atop it's game for a long time mind.

Dig depth is good was at just over 2m and still had a bit to go. Couple of things I came across is when offset the boom will touch the track before it bottoms out for depth and the blade can be touched also
