JCB htd5 drive motor

Hi was wondering if anyone has changed a drive motor on jcb htd5 or more to the point how does the drive sprocket come off it’s on a key way shaft my three legged puller won’t touch it

do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
any grub screws anywhere ??

We tried everything and couldn’t get them off. Cut the old sprockets off in the end after spending far too much money in a hydraulic puller arms race!

If I remember they bent with the puller rather than move off the shaft.... Not easy to cut them off neatly and not damage the shaft. Took my old man a long time, but all done now.

The sprockets were expensive to replace too and have an awkward bearing carrier just behind them with a covering plate if I remember rightly. Mine had been on since manufacture in 2008 I’m guessing as I’ve never seen such worn sprockets.
