Jcb 8014cts oil filter removal..

Hi
Doing my first service on my JCB 8014cts and I am stuck trying to get the oil filter out?
I've managed to unscrew it of the thread but can't seem to get it past the sump..
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Any indication the engine has been out?
The the filter the correct number for that machine?

Many engines are fitted with a different filter depending on application. I'm wondering if that filter was fitted to the engine when it was out.
