Jcb 801.4 add cab heating

Hi guys.
I have a jcb 801.4, and I would like to add cab heating.
I've got a heater matrix from a car,
I've added two T's on the radiator hoses ( one on the lower hose, one on the upper hose)
I do t get hot water on that heater matrix that it will be in the cab.
Shall I use the water pump?
There are two lids on it.
I think that might be from a version with closed cab as mine is canopy.

Might as well eat two tins of beans so you fart regularly- it'll keep you warmer!

No point having a heater blowing at you on a canopy machine- what little you do manage to feel will just make the cold elsewhere seem worse. Instead, invest in a heated jacket or similar.

The motorcycle handlebar heaters that someone on here had fitted look good and the heated seat cover.

I rarely find my body gets cold its feet and hands. Neoprene wellies are the nuts.

on a wet night when you've 32 pallets to whip off a trailer on forktruck few wraps of shrink-wrap in the right areas is a game changer

heated seat covers was @Grahams ' trick for the cold ... swears by them ..... +1 on the neoprene wellies ... great feet warmers

I’ve got a heated seat cover that plugs into the cigarette lighter socket, works ok - warmer than the cold seat and makes a noticeable difference over the day but not as warm as the ones in my pickup.
There’s a company called diggerlid that do proper covers for canopy machines with pvc windows in them. If you keep the wind off you it makes all the difference.

Plug in Heated seat like Ollies and dickies all in 1 thermal recovery suit is what you need, maybe if you could get blowers working blow them on levers would be nice

Quick update. I've done it in the right way.
I'm using the water pump to get hot water throughout the cabin radiator.
The canopy win become cabin with some plexiglas
I'm in romania, so the electric heated pads won't help that much during the winter.

I just have to add a pc fan and a potentiometer to adjust the speed of the fan.
I'll keep you updated.

What's the verdict on the diggalid? Decent view out and easy to get in and out?

Not great on either front, but if you can keep the wind and rain off (especially on the big open sites we work on) then it's a very good compromise.

I'm back with the heating.
It's working great.
I have to paint get the interior done, with some paint and it will be done.
