I find my 814 pretty good it’s a 1990 grey cab super weighs 15t tracks at a good walking pace which isn’t bad best thing is it can sit for 12months and chuck battery’s on and work it’s bollocks off with no mither

the 814 super seems to be the one to have and what you see most of about s/h ... good basic workhorse

I found a few pictures of various 800 series machines that i had taken over the years past various spec machines including an 814 river rig, and the 818 with a mono boom.

Back around 1990 I fitted one of those dipper extensions to an 814 digging a deep manhole. Identical to the one in the picture. I thought at the time it was a homemade thing at the time But obviously not. Were they a JCB option or a third party item?
