@Gecko Yes they got a good spray of Servisol before reassembly though in fairness the contacts were very clean looking.

My pdf copy of the service manual is also 9803/3260 issue 9 - it's obviously a scan and not the highest resolution, so enlarging the relevant circuit diagram results in rather blurred images

If yours is an original manual I'd much appreciate a high resolution photo of the circuit diagram which I think is Section C page 18-1 and following.

What serial number / year is yours?

ok, probably the same file - my copy is not special, but I thought it may be different to yours.
My P8 is badged as '97, but apparently rolled down the production line Dec. '96
it's a 0450 build
