It will also be sae+ controls on the backhoe with it been a cat...whether your used to them. It's the pattern I learned on.
Beg pardon? Sticks I have used a tiny bit but most of my limited time is on ISO I think ?

Just looked again. I assumed it was a 428b, it's not it's a 438b...it will have selectable 4 wheel steer and bigger engine....quite a rare beast...buy it.
I can’t find anything about the 4 wheel steer option on the 438b 🧐

That's what I was wondering- doesn't look 4 wheel steer yet the sticker says otherwise.

Tbh it looks a fairly clean useable machine, obviously could be a bit of a restoration project too on some of it but hopefully not far off going straight to work

I still remember my BIL having to spend a lot of money getting brakes fixed on his 590. Big job IIRC

If you look at this video you can see the rear wheels are steered.

All wheel steer used to be an option on the 434e iirc. You dont need equal sized tyres on the cats to have aws.

looks a good buy to me at that price, jcb of similar age in good nick would be a few grand more.Always thought they looked really smart back in the day, would be a nice fun tool to own if you had a really big shed to keep it in😉
