How much was a set of tracks on the skid steer above.if £250 a track that's only a pound an hour in running costs but I'd imagine tracks are a bit more expensive.my avatar was costing me a pound an hour in tyres back in 2001.was only on £17/18 an hour then too.its all added onto the daily charge.

I would have to double check my laptop as we had loads of work done at the same time but I think you would be closer to the £2500 mark.

HOW much????😳

f**k me, now you tell me!

We went down to a narrower track which is meant to improve wear time on hard surfaces. And ours 2 sizes up from yours. Can't remember if the £2500 was for the wide tracks or narrow tracks.
They where from the bobcat dealer so as @Bri963 says you could probably save some money but yeah go easy on them as they aren't a cheap hobby.
I don't know what the excavators are like but bobcat ctl components in general aren't cheap.

Of immediate concern to me is that it’s on brand new tracks after 500 hours….
Looks cool though!

Yes, I have a 444 on demo for a couple of weeks, along with a 301.6. Finning approached me a few months ago wanting me to do a video review of the two machines. Before any of the issues with my 4cx were made public. But the timing of this demo is ideal to keep the pressure on JCB to get my machine back, which has been gone for 5 weeks now.
Its an interesting machine, very different to the JCB in a lot of ways. There's a lot of things you can do with the setup for hydraulic flows, lever feel etc. Its quite a complicated machine to get around to understand all the features.
Its built like a tank, but this has compromised visibility to the bucket on both ends really.
Will make a great review video for sure, and finning say they want me to be completely honest which is ideal because thats how I do all my videos.

As I previously said. They have been very kind to offer you it in the driest part of the year… they really dislike wet/mud! I had a 432 on demo for a week and it was instantly made the hardstanding only machine! It was that heavy you could feel the main chassis flex when heavy digging with the backend!! Also v low ground clearance! Slow on the road, took forever to get to speed and hated hills.. you simply can’t beat a JCB for backhoe - altho they have over complicated them - 2005 to 2010 was the golden era of 3CX’s!
