Is the backhoe loader a thing of the past?

I would change the transmission oil and filter clean the screen mine pushes and move muck in second but our ground is probably a bit softer by our muck heap, Nice machine deserves some new seat covers and foam, I did mine just to tidy it up.

So.... New fuel pipes and she's running sweet.

Pushes like a fkn train in bottom. Tbh she's a bit lackluster trying to dig in 2nd but does it. IMHO hard material. Still loaded the bucket.

Rexroth valve block on the back. Hitch and hammer piped. Cab is a nice place to be.

In two minds about removing the finger trappers.... Although in the yard it'll be mostly fork work so they will likely stay.

Lights etc work except for the beacon.

Got smooth ride amongst other nicities.

Have you got the option of a QH on front so you can swap out bucket for proper forks with side shift? Surely far superior if you’re doing mostly forking ?

I'm considering. Not sure yet.... Equally I could just make a carriage with 3 pins.

John Deere by the looks of it. Pretty unlucky!

I remember having to do a wind tunnel test based around a 70mph travel speed back in my test days to ensure stuff like that was unlikely to happen.

JCB on servos pretty thin on the ground ? My BILs case went for circa 24K with double those hours and only 2 years newer . Makes @doobin NH look a doozy of a deal.

Out on the first proper jaunt tomorrow so trying to address some niggles before we go. Twin beacons now working Shovel, Spadything and Broom and two of @Storrsy style signs I picked up for £15 each.

I can open the door properly too.

In cab, fire extinguisher and a puncture kit (bow ties and string) those two things I'm putting in on a voodoo esc tactic keep the bad spirits away.

Looking great mate. I’m almost jealous.

I've even invested in a new bottom seat cushion.... And a 12v coolbox that should sit in the second doorway with two cupholders.

Pretty please with her. Still in the shakedown phase mind. Will run her next month properly and then give her a full service.

If only it was on Servos it would be nearly perfect! I was impressed with the one I drove.. Seemed to have better lock than the Case 580 but may have just been my imagination.
