In my experience a lot of the agricultural types don't like Z purlins because they are too floppy and so favour good old timber.
If they actually looked at the plans supplied and got the Z purlins the right way round and got the stays in correctly they'd be a lot happier going out to 6 metre spans 🤔😁

Also if putting concrete panels in it can work out cheaper. Depending on specs

My only regret with this one was I was tight and went timber on the walls! Still a peach of a shed!

I didn’t want any timber in my my 80x50 shed, all z purlins etc. 20 foot bays, loads of stay wires and spreaders within the zeds (all ordered/paid for with the frame).
It would be easy to do a ‘self-spec’ and get cheap z purlins etc - if you don’t build all of the bracing into the job then they are obviously going to sag over time (as timber will also).
