do it as well as you can,but learn to do it better
Probably 15miles from the Atlantic . Seller has remade most of floor pan and all pillars have been replaced . Done a lot of work to be fair . Floor is sound now but still plenty of rusty bits
I went to look at a Case duck which lived near the coast in Devon, 'fore buying the 'Drema .... I have never seen such a badly rotted machine - ever -- even the radiator mount frame had rotted away ... it was disintegrating as I looked at it - was a pity, as it was a nice tight machine, but hells teeth - was completely, utterly fooked

First thing I would do with that Case 580 is a good pressure clean followed by a coarse fibre disc then a couple of coats of Zinc primer before a decent top coat of Case Tan and a few decals, Has it had all of the oils and filters changed recently, so many people dont bother.

I can almost guarantee that it’s had sod all maintenance as owned by a builder for nearly 30 years

Well..... he's talked himself down to £6500... I haven't budged yet from £5000. I'm busy pricing up insulated roofing sheets this week which is dampening my digger ambitions....

Stick with £5k offer. I can't really see that being snapped up at much more tbh.
It's still there so obv not shifting quick. Sometimes being down the arse end of the country narrows your selling audience. BIL still trying to sell me his 590.. I've offered him £10 a week but he wasn't keen :-D

I was keen on it, I wasn't joking previously. Lol.

If another lump of money lands in the pot I still would be but alas the last lump has burned a hole with the last few purchases, which now need to fulfil their requirements.

My pot of gold is about to turn into a shed that won’t return much for 10 years. Leaving my digger fund a bit dry.

Sheds a little story some years ago as i came off a building site there was a Rolls Royce Silver shadow with private plate WS1,I looked at it and the chap inside put the widow down and shouts Dave, I say yes blimey its William Smith WTF we left school together here i am working on site and you have a Rolls Royce - what happened. He says well dad gave me £25.00 and said go and buy something that you can turn a profit on. So i said what did you do, Well he says I found a shed in the small ads so purchased it for £20 got it home put new felt on the roof gave it some creosote put a lock on the door and sold it for £60 Blimey i say then what did you do, Well he says i took £40 of my profit and found a dog kennel in the free ads, took it home cleaned it up painted it white and a new bit of felt on the roof and sold it for £80, Jesus i said then what did you do, He says well i went large and found a double shed which i got for £50 took it home creosoted it and put new felt on the roof, new door lock and sold that one for £120 wow i said then what did you do, Well he said i won six million on the lottery so i thought F**k the sheds!!!
