I have always hated JCBs never could get use to the bloody lever positions it made me look a bit of a prat so always said can't drive them and would use whitlocks , masses and for a time a inch green in the 60s and 70s. The last few years I was working I didn't mind the ford/new holland or the FB100 which I preferred.
Now anybody with 180 ticket is getting rare

My argument is if you can drive a backhoe you don’t need a ticket for anything else 😂
I'll go with that.

The 432 was stood more and more, I can only drive one thing at once so off it went. Plus the enquiries have got less and less. Since it going in April last year I've only had to hire one for 2 days and for the first time ever I hired one with a driver for a day before Christmas and that was for one of my price jobs. There rate was less than what my day rate used to be and bonus is I could be on the ground keeping everything else moving rather than me been sat in the seat and trying to keep on top of what lads were doing
