went to a good few tractor pulls with my lad when he was a nipper, first saw them at yeovil festival of transport. best we went to was european championships at gt ecleston. used to be plenty of tractors then very well presented machinery hearing two rr griffons or five blown chevy v8s having their throttle cables stretched is an addictive noise to behold.

It was a long trek from dorset near enough on the south coast but well worth the journey there were lots of top tractors and action both days, the different engines used with inline, vee engines, axial engines, and turbines, brilliant weekend.
