information on old brand "HOUG.
hi guys, excuse me if every now and then I disturb you and annoy you, I bore you and I tire you with my questions. as you know it is evident that I am suffering from old irons, scrap and war remnants, unfortunately it is a pathological mania of mine, it is clear why denying it, having said that some knowledgeable and informed friend could kindly give me information, photos or other material on the HOUG brand, I think his name is, he should be Komatsu ancestor, I know he also built mammoth and powerful machinery, even a powerful wheeled bulldozer bulldozer a large 10 cubic meter wheeled loader, you know nothing about it, one last question sorry if I insist and I'm picky, the wheeled bulldozers there used, never seen by us maximum 3 cubic meter bucket loaders, sorry if I disturbed you and stole your precious time. greetings to the Iron Queen, she is stainless and unstoppable, not the old irons I mentioned above.

D500 HOUGH

The Machine: 1971 International Hough H-400 B equipped with a 10-cubic-yard bucket. Powered by a 12-cylinder Cummins diesel rated at 375 kW (500 h)p.

Of Note: The Frank G.Hough Co., begun in the 1920’s, had been acquired by I-H in the early 1950’s. The H-400 loader, introduced in 1964, was the first Hough articulated loader and it positioned the operator on the forward section.

There were never many of the big Houghs in the UK. There were quite a few smaller ones in pits, but I doubt there are any left on front-line duties. Not a machine I’ve seen, let alone operated.

gentlemen forgive my dark side, obsessive, I got the mania and fixation for ancient earth-moving machines, it is now an evident chronic incurable disease.

I don't think there is a remedy, the vet I called for a consultation told me "I have to kill you I have to kill you like a sick beast, there are no other cures for similar pathologies you are incurable.
