I really want one of these. So much of it resonates with what I want from a vehicle, but they keep putting hurdles in the way of making it an easy decision to buy.
Brand new truck - how will it fare after a few years?
What's the backup like?
The price is huge
Some design features are really compromising. The large lump in the footwell on RH drive cars, the spare wheel inside the pickup bed! I like that it has actual buttons for the heater etc but why doesn't the dashboard sit in front of you?
Now we find out it wont qualify for claiming VAT...

Its becoming harder and harder to get excited about. Anyone on here actually bought one?
My problem is none of the jap pickups that are left to buy in the UK are that appealing especially at their new £40k pricetag!!!

My eyes lit up when the pickup version came out… I configured it to 74k!! don’t fancy spending 100k on work truck& van, especially when I can’t get the VAT back on the 74k!
So I need to block the keyword from my browser so I never have to be tempted again!

Massive swing and a miss, apparently was aimed at a work horse/farm sort of affair, what they have ended up with is a very expensive vehicle that is very expensive for its 'target" market and more of a yuppie, pavement princess.
You have to be some sort of clown to spot a market gap, then not only blow past any sort of reasonable price then have the audacity to not even make the standard versions be vat reclaimable but yet make a pickup version that also isn't.
On top of that with only ford/VW, isuzu,Toyota and sangyong selling new pickups they could have had a decent chance with people wanting an update defender replacement well except the pricetag, which will just result in them being a "lifestyle" vehicle
I have seen two on the road in the last week or so, don't look too bad not had a chance to have a look up close though although one did have the roof rack which is £1500+

Bang on summary sadly.
I do feel they are at the mercy of totally out of date weight regs but they knew that going into it...
And that bumper...😳😖 Looks utterly crap the more I see
