Importing soil/fill

May be a stupid question, but is there any regulations for filling dips in a field, if the material being used to bring the levels up is the from the same field from an area being dug up for parking at the entrance to the field?

No. But I would use a U1 for that and import the fill. Construction of a Yard area and improvement of the gateway.

I’d ask the EA.could cost an absolute fortune to correct if things ain’t right.they are a law unto themselves aswell

From the sounds of it the guy now, just wants the material stacking at the side of the field near his new parking area, but wants to use crushed "concrete" for the surface of it.
Never really given any thought to this sort of stuff before although always tend to use quarried materials for anything we have dug out and backfilled

Raising a field with soil dug from the field

Do you need planning permission to raise part of a field if the soil has come from the same field i.e. where a building is going? Planning officer is going to phone next week and I want to be prepared.
