Ifor Williams Tipper TT3017

Thinking of selling my GD84 and buying a TT3017 tipper (10x5,6 3500kg gross). I’ve got a couple of projects starting where I could do with bringing in materials a bit at a time rather than a full lorry load. I’ve priced one up with nearest IW dealer, £5530+ vat with ramp carrier and led lights. Don’t suppose anyone on here has one they’re looking to move on? Any better alternatives from other manufacturers I should look at? It’s only for my own private use so won’t get a lot of work but I guess decent resale value once finished with?

I don’t know what part of the country you are in but get a price from Dan at Morris Buftons in Ludlow before parting with any dosh - he’s a great guy and very keen on price for Ifor’s.

I rang the closest dealer who I’ve bought two from in the past, they haven’t got one in stock anyway. Im going to try T&A in the morning as a friend recommended them.

HFB have always pretty keen (assume that’s who you have tried?)
I got my last one direct from the factory at Deeside

Think my Dad's big livestock trailer came from there, even 14 years ago it was still cheaper to spend a day driving from Hertfordshire than our local place, and they had it in stock

Yes, HFB. Would possibly be November for one in stock. Only options I’d add were led lights and ramp carrier (crazy it’s not a standard thing!!)

True, I won’t be carrying them normally.

Another question, worth paying extra for 13” wheels over 12”?

I think it is, for me it makes sense to have a more robust looking tyre when venturing off the tarmac regularly
