Love the scenery, like the outdoors, better value property.
Less people, although I've been warned off by my mate who's worked offshore for years that those Scottish guys are a strange breed

Good film on netflix at the moment- Calibre. Not sure if all Scots are like that but I like to think so!

I remember stopping for a sandwich on some land by the river up near fort William- It was access land but anyway the farmer pulled up and asked why we'd stopped , I replied that just having a bit of lunch and that we'd move on soon anyway. At this point hearing me speak he said "best thing for you English- just keep moving" he then pointed at an old plough rusting nearby in the nettles and said "and don't go nicking that either" and drove off!

Funniest thing is ...how many are actual "natives" if it's anything like the Lakes it's now full of folk who moved up and are "living the dream" and complaining about folk moving in and holidaying there ..

And here, basically if you live anywhere half decent. I'm not a generational Devon dumpling I was born and bred here but my grandparents were the incomers, so bit two faced to moan about all the people moving down here, I do moan about it though- can't help myself.
