my old man used to say -- getting nicked by a 'jam sandwich' was a fair cop - if you were dull enough to not see 'em you deserved it, but cameras just weren't 'cricket' ..... and that was coming from a 30 year traffic cop

I think the wall was okay…. The sail fixed to the top might have been the issue !

The wall was poor, the additional fence just added to it's problems!
Once people stop thinking that mortar isn't glue things tend to get built better.

exactly why I guyed off a similar (but 9" hollows)retaining wall/fence line (that I didn't build) with the low side on the wrong side ..... glad I did or it'd've been flat by now, with the W. N. Westerly battering it still, with another two days of this shite to go yet
