When the Stansted carparks had a massive meltdown few years back they spent a fortune sending people home in cabs, then even more returning cars..
The prob was large families with children needed cabs/mini busses with appropriate child seats. Can imagine this will be hell to deal with on this scale, with potential hire cars in the mix as well as the insurance claims coming..Nothing worse than landing and going home at the best of times...

some online saying a hybrid Range Rover, but others saying it had wrong rear lights and therefore too early a model..
Fire brigade said diesel...looked like earlyish evoke
But still can't help having all the other battery chariots around it...
Gonna be making them park outside before long.

Recovery guys say they have to leave min 2 car space around any they recover now which is uppping costs and hassles . Insurance will be going up rapidly .

I`ve seen somewhere, when an EV gets battery damage, they use a big tank a bit like a roll on roll off skip, dump the car in it and fill with water, and leave it for a few days to cool down.

So the fire brigades first statement was that there would be no way to find out what vehicle started the fire....... a few hours later a video appears of a RR evoke on fire in the parking lot and the fire service almost immediately release a statement to say they believe the vehicle that started the fire to be a diesel vehicle, no corroborating evidence, nothing .....something stinks, something really stinks of a coverup.
Which ever way it goes environmental groups have a hard argument, either the environmentally friendly EV has just caused more pollution than thousands of diesel cars, or the environmental restrictions on a diesel (dpf doing a regen) caused more pollution than it would ever have restricted. mark my words it will all get swept under the carpet with a load of shush don't ask questions
