Unfortunately they seem to have moved the agenda so much people (even piers Morgan )accept we are in a climate crisis and that frames the debate. We are in a period of climate change, as it would appear the planet has always been in, but it has not been proved to be a crisis as far as I can see. None of the actual scientific predictions will cause anything other than mild inconvenience to most people. Plenty of claims have been made, but I can’t think of one climate claim that has come true so far, from polar bear extinction to no arctic ice, it is all just made up for sound bites.

I don’t agree with their cause, I don’t believe they’ve got their facts straight at all, I’d go as far as to say they are completely brainwashed into doing this sort of thing. But I do believe in their right to protest, but protesting shouldn’t involve the destruction of other peoples property. As soon as they start with this sort of behaviour, be it pouring milk about (don’t really understand this at all), blocking refineries etc, glueing themselves to tarmac…well actually I don’t understand why they do any of it! But once this sort of thing happens they loose any credibility they may have had and their argument is lost….

Apparently today they used white paint to symbolise milk and painted Big Ben . Now that will cost a nice few of our hard earned to repair . A high end company should be employed to make the necessary repairs to a listed building . After doing an extensive survey of the damage .
Then all of the individuals involved should be fined for the malicious damage and also charged the full cost of the repairs .

Am I the only person that thinks it is what it is when it comes to climate change. It doesn't matter what we do nature will survive. Does it really matter if the human race survives forever. The dinosaurs didn't. We could all be wiped out by a meteor next week so the human race is very fragile. But when it's all said and done. We won't have destroyed the earth. The plants and nature. Only ourselves. Look at Chernobyl. It's rich with wildlife and the plants are taking back over. Maybe the extinction of the human race would be the biggest benefit there is, we seem to muck everything up anyway. Plus I'm still waiting for the mad max post apocalyptic world we where promised because of covid.
