“Fart” means “speed” in Norwegian, “humper” means “bump.”
As a result, speed bumps are called fartshumpers.
Below we added a few more speed related words from our former Viking warrior friends.
Speeding Ticket: Fartsbot
An Alternate Word For Speed Bumps: Fartsdumper
Radar Speed Trap: Fartskontroll
Speeding Camera: Fartskamera = Fotoboks

goes to show nothing is new .... :rolleyes:
late '70s, south of England had a chariot racing scene ... didn't use bikes though .... 4 mini wheels abreast on an axle, with a small engine (usually a tuned mower engine) sat above them driving the axle with this lot fixed by a pivot to the shaft of the chariot .... the ozzy scene looks to have been a LOT more fun:giggle:
