so bang on the mark ...... but only if you don't settle the card monthly - otherwise it doesn't apply  ............ but keep on using cash or the day will come, whether you settle monthly or not that there will be charges  AND you leave a digital trail, where ever you go
The money gets eaten away at the receiver’s end each transaction if cards are used.

You couldn't make it up time..
So the new iPhone for daughter was ordered. Knowing DPD's abilities I said send it to local store and I'll pick it up as they are champions of knock and run.
Tracker says it's delivered so went to EE shop. It's not there. Pics on app show someone signing for it. Detective Mrs deduces that it's a marks and Spencer sign in background.
Sure enough, the girl stacking baskets has got it, didn't know what it's for and slung it in stockroom. Had to get the EE manager to go to marks to negotiate for it...
How the F did EE shop become tills at mark's n sparks.

You're lucky ..I've seen stuff disappear when delivered to shops or pickup point. Personally unless it's the locker type I'd not use that again.

In a previous career I worked for an exhibition company, and was sent to the Glasgow Honda dealer with a brand new bespoke single car display (it was an exhibition stand our firm had designed and had built for Honda - a fully fabricated powdercoated modular construction that filled a 7.5 tonner in component form). When I arrived at the dealers they asked if I could drop it off at a nearby shopping centre, as they were putting a car on display in there the following week.
I asked if someone would come with me to show me where I was going/where to put it etc (this is before satnavs) - they were all too busy (or couldn’t be arsed more likely) and said I couldn’t go wrong, there was an obvious delivery bay and the people there would know what was going on. (None of this was particularly unusual, exhibition work was often pretty ‘happy-go-lucky’ with a good degree of flexibility in those days).
I took it to where I was told, unloaded it and got back down the road pronto as was tight for time on the tacho.
A week later my boss asks where I dropped it off etc. The long and the short of it was the entire thing had disappeared, never to be seen again! Several grand down the drain, probably weighed in as it wouldn’t have served a purpose for anything else.
