Funny, but seriously - if I wanted a motorbike from the 1930's, I'd buy a bike made in the 1930's.
only good reason to own a Harley is ............................ the soundtrack ..... otherwise 🤮🤮 ..... fine in California at 55mph in glorious sunshine for bimbling about on ... UK - forget it

Yeah, I get it. The is something primal about the sound of a V-twin, but personally the Harley's 45° doesn't sound as good as a 60° or 90°.

I was getting around on a VTR-1000 for a while.
It pulled like a tractor from idle, but I never met anything on four wheels that could keep up from a set of lights.

had one of Yammy's TR1,s for a while - long time ago ... went well but with all the balance shafts, etc. was tame and lame in the soundtrack dept. :( .. nice motor though .. pulled like a choo choo :giggle:

always fancied a 900SS Duke .... but the maintenance on 'em was too off-putting .... a mate had one and had it in bits more than he rode it :(
a.n.other mate had a Laverda SF2 - 750 twin, which always sounded lovely -- after the agricultural sounding starter had persuaded it into life :ROFLMAO:... was a very quick ride

A very cranky old woman was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store.

She gave everyone a hard time, from the store manager to the security guard to the arresting officer who took her away, complaining and criticizing throughout the process.

When she appeared before the judge, the judge asked what she had stolen from the store.

The lady defiantly replied, "Just a stupid can of peaches."

The judge then asked why she had done it.

She replied, "I was hungry and forgot to bring any cash to the store."

The judge asked how many peaches were in the can.

She replied, "Nine, but what do you care about that?"

The judge patiently said, "Well, ma'am, because I'm going to give you nine days in jail - one day for each peach."

As the judge was about to drop his gavel, the lady's long suffering husband raised his hand and asked if he might speak.

The judge said, "Yes, what do you have to add?"

The husband said, "Your Honor, she also stole a can of peas."
