Ordered new hoses but got the hydraulic fitting orientation wrong, Any way of spinning them around without damaging them?
No. All you can do is add a swivel coupling if there is room to do so.Ordered new hoses but got the hydraulic fitting orientation wrong, Any way of spinning them around without damaging them?
Top tip from my guys in Raglan ..... new hoses are fairly adjustable for a while .. secure the fitting in say a vice (if it's an elbow - for a straight/banjo you'll need to attach to an adaptor) and rotate the crimp with some Moles, close to the shoulder so's you don't squash the crimp .... have done it loads of times from a tweak to half a rotation .. works fine up to circa 1/2" ... bigger'll need some still.ysOrdered new hoses but got the hydraulic fitting orientation wrong, Any way of spinning them around without damaging them?
elbow/banjo at a guessWhat has the hose got on each end then?
Yeah I see that would be a challenge if the elbow was 90deg out!elbow/banjo at a guess
TBH I've moved old pipe orientations before now ... can be a bit more challenging, but new ones're a POP up to 3/4" for sure ... 1" are a deffo stilly jobYeah I see that would be a challenge if the elbow was 90deg out!
