Hydraulic breaker fault

Picked up a jcb beaver unit and hydraulic breaker this afternoon for a project. I Briefly ran it at sellers yard before heading home. I thought i’d Give it a try on some concrete at home to find that I can’t actually get the “gun” to stop! It appears whatever activates the flow under the lever is stuck down or not returning up when releasing the lever.... any ideas? Or is it a case of taking it to a specialist?

try some diesel soak on it over night ? ... make a Plasticine bund around the button and fill it

Watching with interest as I have same issue. Not always full flow but enough to keep the chisel hitting slowly.

I would guess a sticking valve on the breaker itself.

As druid says stick some WD40 or diesel around the handle for a couple days.

Success! Obviously hasn’t been used for a while so took handle off and soaked it with WD and left for an hour. A couple of gentle hammer taps its popped back up!
