Htd5 leak

So after 3.5 years and several thousand tonnes of material shifted it's finally had a break down.
Got a hydraulic leak somewhere around the pump area the pump part that I can see is dry and can't see any wet pipes although the cooler radiator is wet. Is there any common problems with them (beside s**t track power)

typical probably should finished clearing the back of the tracks before I had a quick had a quick snack and a drink. Looks like a split pipe to track motor so that's a nice little win, looks like a bit of a twat to get out but is a good result. Anyone know what the hydraulic tank emptying procedure is as I may as well change all the fluid

Just track it out as far as you can, that should do it

stretch her out as far as you can with bucket ram fully closed ........ and open the drain plug ... optional as to putting anything under the plug to catch it ... or dig a big hole under it ......... on someone else's site

He'll be doing well to do that with the HTD5, it's a dumper...

I used a little hand vacuum pump and sucked out what I could through the filter housing. The pipe that failed was rubbing on the frame of the dumper new fitting has a taller metal fitting so hopefully won't be an issue again.
The other dumper is not charging, the stator looks ok but my tester is broke.
New lifan engine fitted on the Wacker the exhaust cover fouls the frame so will sort that tomorrow either with a hammer or cutter, the engine took quite a while to get started with several back fires before it eventually came to life.
Suppose it's the turn of the doosan next as thats been at least 2 months without some shitty problem arising

I've seen it, I like that they have added a step, I know electric is the future but the cost and all the hassle of having to charge it and can it manage a full day.
The original dumpster is hardly fast and the electric version is 1kmh slower, plus my biggest issue with it, is the sheer cost it's over double the cost of the diesel version.

Flat out all day I don't think mine uses £5 worth of white diesel with diesel version at around 6.9k plus vat, from a quick look for the two lease prices from JCB for both are just over double for both the lease hire/purchase options. With some quick maths someone could buy two for the same price or based on £5 a day fuel for the diesel, you could run it for 1380 days or the equivalent of 5.75 years (5 days a week for 48 week's a year).

To be fair the cormidi I bought was cheap and had a few issues from day one, I'm certain it will need a regulator and the starter motor is also playing up the solenoid only engages every so often but it does start and work. The tracking power and speed is excellent the tipping and lifting is a bit pony
