How heavy (real world)?

Well I your machine 2683kg and knowing the weight of the grab is 84kg and the Rototilt is approx 190kg I'd say the top hitch is about 40kg

I'm going with 3000kg dead on the nail

There looks to be a kg or 2 or mud on it, plus probably some s**t down behind the seat- tools etc so I reckon 3030kg

Hold on- If rototilt weighs 190kg plus grab and top hitch at another 120kg- can it actually lift anything in the grab?!

It does lift amazingly well, but keeps you on your toes! This Rototilt was on my 6 tonner originally and is bigger than you’d choose to fit to a 2.7 tonner if spec’ing from scratch. Apparently you could save around 100kg fitting the smaller unit, which would make a big difference to the overall setup.

I wouldn’t worry, in afew years it will shed all its paint and become well under the legal towing limit my JCB is now half its original weight

It doesn’t run out of lift though, just stability!… You simply have to drive it with your backside sensor switched on…

I’m going to have to weigh the Rototilt and grab as I can’t see it being that heavy somehow (I reckon Aiden’s sums must be wrong!). The digger has an extra counterweight which adds 100 kg (from memory - I’m sure the resident Bobcat salesman can confirm though!)
I also have a Femac T9 FR105 Rev flail that is definitely much heavier than the Rototilt when fitted and that is 360kg apparently.

Don't forget with the flail the weight will actually be further away thus making it heavier even though on scales maybe not
