How do you carry your diesel

How does everyone carry their diesel these days.I still use 4/5 gallon plastic drums but think it’s time to invest in a small tank for the truck.Fed up getting splashed with diesel on a daily basis and with newer machines on the fleet I’m a bit more wary of contamination from water,dirt,dust etc.
Been looking at options around 100l capacity but am not sure quite what to go for.

If you have room hardwire a pump into each machine and just use a drum. 100x better than fuel Bowser's with hose gun and leads everywhere. Every one I have used has ended up with everything covered in diesel after 6 months. Whereas the pump on the machines are much cleaner

That would be one option,but with dumpers,roller etc. we would need to do ten machines,so one tank might be the better route for us.

Yes we keep 110 litre and 220L with electric pumps

Sounds like it would be no use to you but I have been wondering if it would be possible to tap in to the tank on the landy. They have a 100l tank and would save me poring diesel all over my trousers first thing in the morning.

I've one of the wheelie bin type ones that I keep in the back doors of the van you can either take the machine to the van or I can slide the Bowser out and drag it to the machines. It has a hand pump which is handy for rollers/dumpers. I have a sucker pump on the duck and can suck out of it

Been impressed with this.
250l and fast pump . Spits out 80l as fast as forecourt. Also handy as it goes in pickup under the lid so ingognito...

That looks a nice compact setup. A lid to cover the hoses and nozzle is esential in my opinion. I only wish they moulded in a recess for the battery.

When it's pickup there's a 12v socket in rear so doesn't even need battery

I was looking at the wheelie bin type,as I sometimes need to unload the bed to tip, but the flat tanksdo look sort of neater ,maybe easier to disguise with a bit of tarp.

what Landy's got 100 litres??? P38 is 80 and older disco (like we have) is a bare 70

Always used 20L drums with the 3cx, but dumpers and rollers are a bloody pain as funnels never fit in nicely! I have a 250L bowser for the pickup, but it doesn’t go under the roller cover, so it’s a pain that I can’t keep in overnight, where as the 20L drums fit. No fuel is left on site anymore these days!
