Anyone got a good workshop hose crimper they would recommend?
We have a Finn power PN20 but looking at upgrading as she struggles a bit with 1 1/4" 4 wire & 2" 2 wire hose fittings. Most of them are Chinese knock offs on the market

gonna be a serious investment Mike ... they'm not cheap

I have this Uniflex S3, been a good tool, haven't done much big stuff with it but it should be up to it

I just take mine next door, Kev has a nice one . Landlord has a manual one in the shed . And half a mile away there must be a handful as we have about 6 tractors dealers on the industrial estate. Hose crimper would be virtually the last thing I’d event need to buy.

I came very close to buying one as I have to replace hoses fairly regularly (being a bit of a rougharse with limited skills…). However, the amount of fittings I’d need to carry just for my own kit put me off the idea in the end - BSP is easy enough, but the Rototilts are on supergay ORFS (and the hoses generally need to be bang on with specific fittings to get them to fit), the old Bobcat was on something else random (JIC possibly?) etc etc.
It’s easier to google ‘hydraulic hoses’ and find someone local - there is definitely no saving to be made for my needs in reality.

Probably best to pick up one from a retirement sale or something like that? Mostly bankruptcy sales these days now
