Hitachi EX22

Hi, a relative has a Hitachi EX22 at his villa in Spain which is surplus to requirements. It’s a canopy model. He is debating if it is worth bringing back to the uk to sell. Would anyone have an idea about a rough value? It will obviously cost a bit to repatriate it so if it doesn’t hold much value he may just scrap it in Spain. It’s on steel tracks and has 3 buckets.

Why would you scrap it rather than sell it in Spain?
I think language barrier. Not knowing where to advertise etc. The Spanish villa is just a holiday home so only visit there a few times a year so I think it would prove difficult to arrange viewings etc.

You'd best haul it back here then or you'll get naff all for scrap, the Spanish will see you coming!

It’s gotta be worth £5k all day long where it sits (or equivalent in euros). Looks clean enough and the your climate isn’t conducive to rust thankfully. Just list it on fb locally when he’s over there.

Unless you’re in a dirt poor part of Spain?

It’s located near Alicante. No rust. Also has a Daihatsu Fourtrak corrosion free but sun bleached paint and a 1998 Toyota Landcruiser all that really need to be cleared up as he is advancing in years and doesn’t want a lot of stuff to sort out when too old to do so

Think a plantalk road trip is the best idea.
Also with there being 3 items.. half a back load wouldn't be that bad
